Setting up SMS alerts

To receive text message (SMS) alerts with your BandHub, you must save your mobile phone number in your BandHub.

Under the main Settings tab, select My Settings. In the second field, called Mobile/Cell #, enter in your phone number, hit Save, and you're done!

NB: If you've entered in your mobile phone number correctly, according to the instructions - 'Country Code, then number (No leading zero) e.g. 447123456789' - then the notifications will work.

Once established, you will be able to receive SMS alerts as an option when creating a new Gig, Calendar Event, Message or Task. SMS alerts can be scheduled in advance, down to the minute, when associated with a Gig, Calendar Event or Task, acting as a last minute reminder.

To change your phone number, just repeat the above steps. To delete your number, repeat the above steps leaving the Mobile/Cell # field blank.

Also, if you are attached to multiple BandHubs, you need only update your settings once, as with all of the personal information under My Settings.
