When you are creating a New Message or replying to an existing thread, you are given the option to send SMS or email alerts.

At the bottom of the Message screen, click on Set Alert to display the options.

Email

When you check off Send Email alert the message will be sent to the email addresses of all Hub Members included in this thread. If you check off Urgent, then the heading of the email will change to reflect this.

SMS/Text

When you check off Send SMS alert a standard SMS message will be sent to all Hub Members who have saved their number to the BandHub, alerting them that a new message has been posted. This message does not contain the actual contents of the message. If you check off Urgent, then the heading of the SMS will change to reflect this.

NB: All alerts sent from the Message Board are instantaneous, i.e. you cannot defer the time they are sent.
